The mixed media glass construction collaboration between Dale Chihuly (American, b. 1941) and Italo Scanga (Italian/American, 1932-2001) is titled Pinball Machine (est. $15,000-$25,000).

Crescent City's May 10-11 Important Estates Auction will Feature Property from The Dufour-Plassan House in New Orleans

The auction will also include paintings descended in the family of former New Orleans Mayor Paul Capdevielle (1842-1922), who served from 1886-1887. Start times both days are 10 am CDT.

John H. Kinnear was a friend and confidante of Ms. Lewis’s, as well as a fellow artist. Mr. Kinnear’s daughter Sheila is offering the letters – a discovery of rare correspondence into Maud Lewis’s secluded life.

The portfolio, titled Aliyah, came to Bruneau on a free appraisal day in the gallery.  Each litho is signed and numbered in pencil along the bottom margin. It’s housed in a linen-covered box.
